£20m wonder kid on Manchester United’s radar

Manchester United are looking to land Crystal Palace wonder kid Wilfried Zaha in the January transfer window according to reports from The Daily Mirror.

Sir Alex Ferguson has taken a keen interest in the player, who he thinks can improve the squad considerably after getting recommendations from his son Darren.

The 20-year-old has been chased by top clubs in England and Europe in recent months . English giants Arsenal have been sending scouts to check his progress on a frequent basis while Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho is also interested in getting his signature.

Palace are unwilling to sell, as they look for promotion to the top tier of English football, and have slapped a price tag of £20m for the youngster.

Zaha will be a great addition for Manchester United and the deal makes a lot of sense. Probably hee will not get a better club to further his career than at Old Trafford. Here, at United, the club provides a perfect platform for the young, pacey wingers and under the watchful eye of Sir Alex Ferguson Zaha’s talent will be nurtured properly.

Also, his deal bodes well with the Red Devil’s transfer policies. United camp think they can get their man by paying half the fees quoted while can sell him at a higher price if they want to in future.

The last paragraph makes no sense, well most of it makes no sense. What does “his deal” mean. There isn’t one. Why on earth should any football club think they do not have to pay the price up front. Manchester United are over £350M in debt, Crystal Palace FC is not. They don’t have the money to buy Zaha, and I would venture to suggest that the four co-owners of and with CPFC are worth more than the debt of the Mancs.

What part of the phrase “We will NOT be selling Wilf in January” do you people not understand? This has been said so many times by our owners in the last few months they must be bored to death of saying it. In the words of joint chairman Steve Parish when asked how Palace fans should react to such statements “Tell them we are not a tin pot little club with no money, we are Palace and we are top of the league.”

When the time comes we will sell the lad and for what we want not what a tired old hack of a journalist believes his club should pay – he has three plus years of his present contract to run, he is happy, he is adored by our fans, he is recognised by the England set up and he is in a team who are pushing strongly for promotion to the Premiership. Tell you what though, give us Rooney, RVP and Young and that will be a gfair swap!

What is your problem? Typical journolists writing rubbish. What part of “We are not tin pot club we are Crystal Palace and we are not selling Zaha” do you not understand?
Journalists that are meant to have a grip of writing the english language certainly do not seem to have a grip in understanding it.
