Fulham’s Moussa Dembele has been one of the more impressive performers in the Premier League this season and the Cottagers fear this could lead to a bigger club pouncing on the Belgian playmaker. Dembele has been integral to Fulham in recent times, slotting into the hole between midfield and attack with great aplomb.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham are reportedly interested in the player who joined Fulham from AZ Alkamaar in 2010 for £5m. His contract at Fulham runs till 2013 and he is valued at around £8m. But Fulham are set to place a £15m price tag on the 24 year old to dissuade any suitors.
Dembele has the chops to succeed at the bigger clubs, with his touch and movement sure to enhance any club. He has the ability to pick up the ball in dangerous areas and run towards goal. One are of improvement will undoubtedly be his goal return, which stands at 6 goals from two seasons at Craven Cottage. How he would fit into the above mentioned clubs is a different issue. Arsenal already have Aaron Ramsey and Tomas Rosicky to play in the advance role while Liverpool are flooded with midfielders. Tottenham have Rafael van der Vaart playing in a similar position and Dembele could at best be a backup for the Dutchman.
