Arsenal look towards Newcastle in bid to resolve their striker problems
Newcastle United’s Senegalese super striker Demba Ba has left Arsenal fans salivating at the prospect of him joining the London giants by declaring that the Gunners are the type of club that makes it possible for him to dream of achieving greatness.
Demba Ba is one of the hottest strikers in the Premier League at present, and continues to be available at a real steal given the presence of a well documented 7.5 million pound release clause in his contract.
There were concerns about the striker’s long term viability after he went through a poor patch in the second half of last season, but having started this year like he did the last, it appears that the 27-year old is indeed destined for bigger things than helping Newcastle United attempt to reclaim long glory.
While the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool have been linked with the striker, his recent admission in an interview with Canal+ can be seen as nothing but a simple come and get me plea to Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
Demba Ba is quoted as having said, ‘I have nothing to say about those speculations [with Arsenal]. Nothing has happened… Arsenal are one of those teams who makes you dream.’
