Arsenal outcast misery continues as he is left out of national side.

Arsenal player Andrey Arshavin has been left out by Russia boss Fabio Capello for next month’s international friendly against the USA.

The little Russian has barely featured for the gunners this term and his lack of performance in recent months has cast doubt over his career with the London club.

It is visibly clear that the star is not the same player he was when Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger bought him back in 2009, and he has fallen from grace so dramatically that he is well down the pecking order and was rumored to be on his way out on a free transfer.

The winger had an average game against Reading in the Capital One Cup during the week but he did show some flashes of his brilliance, most noticeably the run and shot that set up the winning goal.

Yet most Gunners fans are not convinced that he is worthy of the wages he is being paid, and Wenger should get rid of him as soon as they can.

This is fair from the supporters, since he has been so poor for so long.

But this latest snub from his international boss must have really hit him hard, because he still believes that he is one of his countries best players.

However, the 31-year-old is no longer part of his club and his national side’s plans, so maybe it is time that he moves on from the Gunners and tries his ability at a lower club because i dont believe he is good enough to play at the very top level anymore.
