Arsenal target 21 year old Kenyan midfield sensation Victor Wanyama could be leaving the club this summer after the player reported that he was attracting interest from a lot of clubs from across the continent.

The young midfielder became an instant hero at Celtic after scoring the winning goal against mighty Barcelona in a Champions League tie last year, and became a household name across the continent.

The Kenyan superstar is keen on making the step up to the next level and told local TV station NTV, “I still have a contract with Celtic and I am their player, but if anything comes up and it is good for me and the club, from there I will move on. At the moment there are some things, some talks going on… I have left that with my agent and I have not contacted him. There are talks going on, but as I said I am on international duty and I will know what is going on when I go back to the club.”

Arsenal are likely to have ot fight off Newcastle, Southampton and Stoke City to secure the player’s signature, with each of those clubs capable of offering the youngster a lot more playing time.
