Bayern Munich considering a move for Man City ace as they look to rebuild
Reports coming out of Germany are that Bayern Munich have had discussions at board level about the possibility of landing Man City striker, Edin Dzeko.
Dzeko has been the subject of much speculation over the last six months or so, there have been rumblings of discontent from the Bosnian international himself and it was always suspected that the 26 year old would be one of the players sold by City this summer.
Dzeko also has experience of the Bundesliga, in fact it was his exploits with his previous club, Wolfsburg, that brought him to the attention of some of Europe’s top clubs, however his stature has dropped slightly after a very disappointing season at Eastlands.
Bayern have taken the Champions League loss hard, very hard in fact and the press in Germany are full of articles relating to the need for Bayern to rebuild itself and it does appear that Dzeko is being discussed as part of that rebuilding.
No fee has been mentioned, however it is unlikely that Man City will recoup the 35 Million Euros they splashed out, they will however attempt to get as much of their initial outlay back as possible.
