The Telegraph is claiming that Chelsea are planning to splash out £140 Million on four new players in the summer, however even that stunning figure could be on the low side considering the players they are after.
The four players that The Telegraph claim Chelsea are after are Real Madrid pair Cristiano Ronaldo and Gonzalo Higuain and Napoli duo Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi.
Now considering that Real Madrid paid in the region of £80 Million alone for Ronaldo and that Napoli will accept nothing less than £30 Million each for Cavani and Lavezzi it means that Higuain is basically going on a free and everyone knows that is not going to happen.
The Telegraph are fairly reliable and not ones for sensationalistic headlines and it is common knowledge that Chelsea have been chasing the Napoli pair for some time, but Rnaldo? Now that is brand new.
Have to say that the chances of this happening do look remote.
