Chelsea outcast could be set for shock move to Liverpool
Liverpool have been touted as a possible destination for Chelsea flop Marko Marin, who is currently on loan with Turkish outfit Trabzonspor.
Marin admitted just last week that he will not be returning to Chelsea once his loan period ends in Turkey, however that does not mean that he would not welcome a return to the English Premier League.
A recent discussion on German radio had one of the pundits claiming that Liverpool may be interested in taking a chance with Marin, though a return to Germany is probably most likely.
But, if Liverpool were to make a move for the 26 year old and he shows anything like the form he showed for Werder Bremen before his move to Stamford Bridge, then they will get a brilliant player, probably at a bargain price.
It must also be noted that Liverpool and Tottenham were strongly linked with Marin before he signed for Chelsea.
Another factor to consider is the German connection with Jurgen Klopp managing Liverpool, it can make a difference for some players.
