Chelsea want £30 Million sensation after failed Modric bid
Chelsea have given up hope of signing Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric and instead have turned their attention to Werder Bremen midfield star, Marko Marin.
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp and Chairman, Daniel Levy left Chelsea in no doubts about their chances of snatching Modric and it appears that the West London club have got the message and have concluded that they have a better chance of landing 22 year old Marin and that a huge bid of £30 Million will persuade his club to sell.
Marin only cost Werder Bremen £8 Million back in 2009 but some scintillating performances have seen the German International attract the attention of most of Europe’s top clubs, it is however Chelsea, according to the German Press, that are on the verge of signing one of Europe’s top young talents.
Chelsea are ready to spend and spend big, they have already shown their intentions with a new manager and if the offer from Chelsea is big enough then expect Werder Bremen to sell.
