Everton and Aston Villa among a whole host of clubs interested in £3 Million bargain

It seems that even though the summer transfer window has just closed the media are still intent on linking players with a whole range of different clubs. In the spotlight today is Bordeaux midfielder, Yoan Gouffran. The player is reportedly available for £3 million and is on the wish list of sides such as Fulham, Everton and Aston Villa who are all reported to be taking a keen interest.

Gouffran, 26, is out of contract next summer and the French club would rather sell him cheaply than let him leave for nothing next summer. The striker, has already revealed that he is interested in moving to the Premier League in the future despite insisting that he is committed to the Ligue 1 outfit.

“Today, I am completely focused on Bordeaux,” he said in L’Equipe. “Of course, I have friends in England, and it is a league that attracts me.

“I am attracted to play abroad and I can’t see myself joining another French club. Meanwhile, I am doing my job the best I can. There will be no conflict with Bordeaux, I won’t start any trial of strength. If I have to stay there will be no trouble.’

The club however, look resigned to the fact they will lose star forward Yoan Gouffran after the player declined to sign an extension with the club. This in turn has led Bordeaux to listen to offers in an effort to cash in on their talented scorer.

Arsenal and Newcastle United are also among the interested parties.

The big RVP merchandise throw away day

The man has obviously no respect for us so why should we have any for him.No gooner surely still wears his shirt or drinks from his cup or wears his scarf or waves his flag or whatever you bought to support his one great year for us,so why not on that fatefull day he returns to our club playing against us dont you just throw it onto the pitch before the Kick off so he actually realises how he has left us feeling.AFC has to know how this unbelievable event has affected the fans. This transfer cant just be brushed under the carpet…….can it.
