Everton are interested in Brighton and Holve Albion defender Lewis Dunk, as David Moyes looks to raid the Championship once again.

The 20-year-old is reportedly on the Everton manager’s radar as he looks to bring in players to add depth to his depleted squad and sees Dunk as an ideal candidate who has earned rave reviews since his emergence in the Brighton first-team squad and recently being called to the England Under-21’s for the first time.

David Moyes brought Tim Cahill from Millwall in 2004 and has since gone on to make 205 appearances for the Toffee’s, with Moyes believing that Dunk can have a similar impact on the Premier League.

Moyes is thought to have sent his scouts to watch Lewis Dunk and has been keeping tabs on him all season with a view to making a bid in January thought to be in the region of £1.5 million however he faces competition from Premier League rivals Stoke and West Brom as the battle to sign the highly rated defender heats up.
