Everybody may want him, but Bale is going nowhere

After such an astonishing performance the other night for his native country Wales, Gareth Bale once again has been linked with Europe’s big guns.

Recent media reports all over have linked the 23-year-old with Barcelona and now Real Madrid as reported on the BBC Sport website.

It is becoming a regular occurrence for the Tottenham midfielder since he arrived on the scene by destroying then Inter Milan right-back Maicon.

The Brazilian was once regarded as one of the world’s best but on the night of November 2nd 2010 Bale earned rave reviews all around Europe for the show he put on against Inter and consequently had every big gun taking notice of his brilliance.

But he stayed at Tottenham and has now shown that the ability he has is undeniable.

His pace, power and energy has given many a defender nightmares. So after his performance against the Scots earlier this week it is no surprise that more football pundits are praising the Welsh wizard.

Croatian legend Davor Suker has been quoted on BBC Wales as saying; “If he has the possibility to go to Madrid it would be his best move of his career,”

Tottenham Andre Villas-Boas will not want to lose his most prized asset, so unless the offer is something he cannot refuse, then Bale will remain a spurs player regardless of what club is linked with him.

For now, Tottenham can remain confident that Gareth Bale will be a Spurs player for a good few seasons yet, so the media can link him with every possible club but he is going nowhere just yet.
