Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group have already made several mistakes since taking over at Anfield, but their biggest mistake could be the appointment of Brendan Rodgers.
The Reds fans are usually very sympathetic over their managers and want to give everyone some time to stamp his own authority. Roy Hodgson was the only exception.
Naturally, Rodgers will enjoy that fan’s affection and support from the owners and have enjoyed that honeymoon period already. But has the club really progressed under him?
It seems like for every one step forward moved by the club, it drops two steps down. The blind followers of Rodgers can give thousands of lame excuses like lack of squad depth, redevelopment takes time etc, but where is the result?
It is indeed a good sign that a manager has a clear cut vision and tactics and wants his team to follow a philosophy but it has to be kept in mind that his methods are giving the right results.
Rodgers is probably the only manager in the entire country who discusses about his philosophy, tactics and methods so openly. It sometimes can act as a self-constructed myth which might be the case with the former Swansea man.

Liverpool did not make any mistake in their appointment of Rodgers. Instead, it is the hiring of the moronic and sarcastic Queen Kenny which did the damage that set the once great Merseyside club back for at least five years. Tasked with the responsibility of rebuilding a fortress, Queen Kenny felt that Anfield is better suited to be a circus with his acquisition of a donkey (Carroll), a meek lamb (Henderson) and a pair of mules (Adam & Downing) to complement the ever-present jackasses (Lucas & Carragher).
Its obvious that he isn’t the right man for liverpool
liverpool is not wrong about appoint breden rogder as a coach, liverpool tranfer is nt buying good player.,poor transfer policy is the problem.jone should bench reina(poor).
Rodgers is a disaster both on and off the pitch. He is shown to be tactically useless week in week out. He then talks rubbish at every opportunity. Yes Liverpool supporters generally support the manager because he’s the manager of our club, but make no mistake Roders is losing support with every embarrassment his incompetence inflicts on us.
Rodgers has failed. Got rid of Kennys poor buys and added his own poor buys. Midfield is our biggest problem, worst ever!
Come back RAFA!
How can glen open his mouth and call our legend a moron? It is obvious he doesn’t knw anything about football considering wat he called Caragher and our best player in 2011-Lucas. I believe appointing rogers after dismissing King Kenny is a mistake. Some1 better than king Kenny should have been appointed like Rijkard or our Benitez.
Rodgers is the worst manager i ever see, he does not know how to change game or players…go to hell Rodgers
