Arsenal have put themselves in a dangerous position are losing out to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday in the north London Derby.
The Gunners are seven points behind Spurs and are in real danger of missing out for the Champions League spot. They are already out of FA Cup, and are nearly eliminated from the Champions League as well after suffering defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich in the first leg at the Emirates.
This brings us to the question: is there any hope for Arsenal this season?
This is Arsenal’s worst season under Arsene Wenger and the present campaign only suggests how much the Gunners have fallen behind from the own standards they had set under Wenger many years back.
The only good news for them is they have a very easy run of fixtures from now on while Spurs and Chelsea have more-or-less tough fixtures.
Spurs are yet to face Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea while Arsenal will face Manchester United, though by the time they will face them, Sir Alex’s men could well have won the title.
The problem is Spurs can drop points against top teams but is there any guarantee that Arsenal will take full advantage?

You are absolutely right that when Spurs drop points can Arsenal take advantage. Me thinks as long as the defence is error prone, the gunners will finish outside the top 4 and could be even be out of europa reckoning. We shall see.
Liverpool are reported to have lost 4o million. The gunners with a bigger stadium could also lose money thru non cl soccer.
EASY RUN OF FIXTURES ???? are you out of your mind ? Do the names Bradford and Bolton mean anything to you ? It is exactly this attitude that seems to filter down from AW to the team. We don’t do easy !! If you think all our next games are money in the bank you will get some very good odds at your local bookies. This is the worst team ever under Wenger, there are no easy games for us these days !
who cares…they have never legally won their position in the top flight of English football so now they are just on the slide back to where they belong…COYS
