Daniele De Rossi, the highly rated Italian midfielder who was spotted at the stands of Stamford Bridge in Chelsea’s home game against Manchester City is set to snub interests of both the English clubs if he leaves Roma.
The 29-year-old midfielder has a strained relationship with manager Zdenek Zeman and his future has come under great scrutiny in recent weeks.
Rossi has been playing for Roma since 2001 and has made 289 league appearance for the Italian outfit scoring 33 goals.
He was spotted at Stamford Bridge in Chelsea’s 0-0 draw with Manchester City and it was speculated that he has held talks with either or both the English clubs.
However, as per reports from Italy, the midfielder would be rejecting offers from both the mega rich English clubs and would start a new venture with French nouveau riche Paris Saint Germain.
Several Serie A players have moved to PSG in recent years, for instance Thiago Silva, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ezequiel Lavezzi and this might prompt the versatile midfielder to join the Parisian club in the January transfer window.
