Jose Mario, is a young up and coming Portuguese player. At just 14 years of age, he still has a long way to go. But as the son of a certain Jose Mourinho, the youngster is already finding himself in the spotlight.
Mario, who was earlier playing with Real Madrid’s Canillas team when Mourinho was the head coach at the club has now decided to not follow his father to Chelsea. The youngster has in fact done quite the opposite and has joined local rivals Fulham, after a month long trial at the club.
Mario, plies his trade as a goalkeeper, something that runs in the family with grandfather Jose Manuel Mourinho Felix also a successful keeper in his days.
The youngster’s decision to join Fulham was reported by Spanish daily Marca and it can only be called a brave one since the player has opted not to sign with a club where his father would be in charge and has instead chosen to progress on his own merit, that too at a local rival.
