Liverpool have identified Lyon and France custodian Hugo Lloris as a tailor-made replacement for Jose Reina if the Liverpool keeper does decide to make a move away from Anfield.
The Reds have been long-term admirers of Lloris, but have never felt the need to splash the cash on the 25-year old keeper because of Reina’s spectacular displays in Liverpool colours. However, with the Reds struggling to match their lofty ambitions with their results in recent years, Reina could be forced to go in search of a new challenge where he would have the chance of playing in the Champions League on a regular basis.
Serie A giants AC Milan can offer Reina just that, and are said to be lining up a bid for the dependable Spanish keeper currently at the European Championships with La Roja. The move would offer Reina a chance to be back fighting for both domestic and continental honours, something Liverpool have been adrift of over recent seasons.
Reina has in the past maintained his loyalty to the Reds, with Liverpool unlikely to want the settled player to move either. However, they are making contingency plans in case the proposed Milan move does go through, with Lloris also said to be craving a new challenge after seeing Lyon fall outside the Champions League berths last term.
A bid of around £12 million could be enough to tempt the Ligue 1 side into selling their 25-year old star, who last Saturday bowed out of the European Championships’ quarterfinals at the hands of Spain.

Dat wld b a gud signing if itz true
I hope Liverpool could convince Pepe Reina to stay if he does leave though I’d like Liverpool to sign Tim Krul of Newcastle instead not Lloris
