Liverpool legend John Aldridge feels that his side can still finish within the top four this season. The Reds, seventh in the table are nine points behind Tottenham Hotspur who are lying fourth in table.
Though the Merseyside club drew their last two away games against Arsenal and Manchester City but the result could have easily gone the other way round. Liverpool have not beaten any team that are lying within top 10 in the league but they have easy fixtures from now on till the end which gives a slim chance of closing the gap with their rivals.
With tough fixtures coming up for Spurs, Aldridge believes that closing down nine points is not a big problem especially if Liverpool cut their silly errors.
Taking into consideration that Liverpool have only three tough fixtures – Everton, Chelsea and Spurs left – but all at home, the chances of moving high up the table is highly possible.
Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard also echoed on the same lines and felt the need to carry on the good performances and start picking up points.
Though their chances are slim but it cannot be discarded altogether. Can Liverpool really finish in top four or are they too optimistic about that?

Aldridge needs to be sectioned under the mental health act. Lol
Yid aaaaaaaarmy!
If they don’t get Champions League football next year, then they would never get it in the near future, with the Taarabt joining Tottenham in summer.
Ahahahahaha
