Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Montpellier midfielder Younes Belhanda and could make a move in January.
The French-Moroccan player has attracted interest from several sides with his displays for Montpellier bagging four goals in 12 appearances however he has signaled his intent to leave the French side if they do not qualify for the Champions League and he could be about to leave the club in January as French media reports Liverpool’s interest in the player.
Belhanda has in recent times talked of a move to Borussia Dortmund however if Liverpool’s interest is genuine, he could be swayed to join the Premier League club as the Anfield club try to gain qualification to Europe’s top tier competition and believe Belhanda could be the player to help them achieve it.
The 21-year-old who has represented France at Under-20 level but recently has represented Morocco would cost around £11million but with more clubs becoming interested in the player, Liverpool will have to act fast in order to get their target.
