According to reports in Italy and Spain Manchester United have come to an agreement with Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski who is set to join the red devils for the 2013/2014 season.
Lewandowski has been linked with a whole host of top European clubs this summer with Chelsea, Man Utd and Juventus reported to be the front runners, in fact it had been reported that Juventus had turned their attention to the Polish international as an alternative to Arsenal’s Robin van Persie and that Chelsea had in fact made an official approach, now however it does appear that the 23 year old is destined for Old Trafford.
Lewandowski contract with the German champions runs out in the summer of 2014 and so it makes sense for them to hang on to one of their best players for another season and secure a deal whereby they maximise his value at a point when he has just one year left on his contract, by agreeing a deal with Man Utd now they achieve that specific aim.
The Polish hit man has played an integral part in Dortmunds rise to the pinnacle of German football and has become much sought after, it now appears that it is Man Utd that have finally won the battle to sign one of Europe’s finest young attackers.

What a load of pap
Load of cobblers. Not many stories going about ?
lol…rumours here and there..seems like sports journalists are out of stories..Hmm..even I could sit down and write this.I remember last season when I heard Man Utd had agreed a deal for Sneijder. They never stop coming.
is this true?
As much as I’d like for this to be true, it seems highly doubtful that Dortmund would part with another one of their top players.
Good news. If true, he has chosen the right place where he can shine. I think United badly needs aerial fighter like Lewandowski to support Rooney.
Why would United wait that long for a player when they already have a plethora of strikers???
It is in d midfield role that united needs strenght and not in the strikeforce.
Until the gaffer, FERGIE confirms the credibility of this story, it remains incredulous.
I agree with the previous comments. Why would any club want to agree a deal for a top player only for him to join them in a year. What if he has a dip in form or gets a bad injury.
Would love to see this player at United rather than RVP, but a nonsense story in this context.
They said a deal would be done after da euros..nw itz over and yet nothing..
l dont belive this till sir ALEX comfirm.
As much as i wud like this story to be true, it still one of those stories were journalist says jack….
In support of my UNITED family I would be GLAD if this is a done deal but we have been taken on a ride this transfer season by European sports writers..So we will sea how it develops
The guy is for manutd
Thats not such a bad idea coz he is cool.Heard he wanna leave d club but not sure if d deal has gone through for now.
man.utd suppose look for a creative midfielders not strikers, so i guess i’m right.
man utd cant afford to buy players for this season let alone tie up deals for next.bs story.
Dont let that old man fool us, we lernt that he has compleat signing of many player which is not true.
May God help united. If all this words are true.
I’l b so glad if ALEX wuld by me a skillful midfielder rada dan flit of strikers.
