Norwich boss Chris Hughton is all set to raid his former club Tottenham, for securing loan deals for two of the London club’s young guns. The Canaries coach has been linked with making a double-loan swoop for securing the services of midfielder Jake Livermore and defender Kyle Naughton for the new Premier League season.
Livermore made 19 appearances in all competitions for the London club last season, whilst Naughton played a more active part, as the defender appeared in 26 games albeit out of position at left-back.
With Tottenham expected to land signings in midfield and defence, Andre Villas-Boas would be keen to allow both the youngsters to go out on loan to gain first-team football.
The policy has been a huge hit at Tottenham as their No.1 right back, Kyle Walker enjoyed successful loan spells at Aston Villa and Queen Park Rangers whilst their speedy left-back Danny Rose has just completed a successful loan spell at Sunderland, where the player was adjudged to be the Black Cats’ Player of the Season.
Naughton would be itching to return to Norwich as the defender has already completed a spell on loan at the Canaries whilst Livermore has courted the attention of fellow Premier League club Aston Villa.
