Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky has been linked recently with AS Roma. The Italian outfit are ready to pay £5m for the 32-year-old, but according to the player’s agent there is no substance in the news and his client is looking forward to getting back into action as early as possible.
But, what will Arsenal do, if any club put such offer on the table?
Selling Rosicky won’t be a bad option here. In his seven years stay at the club he has made 118 appearances league appearances scoring 19 goals. That’s not at all a good reading, considering the wealth of talent the player possesses.
His average appearance per season is less than 25. In fact, only in the last season, he played more than 25 games in the league. His quality is beyond any doubt while he was voted as the 3rd best Arsenal player last season. Nearly, half of the season is gone this term, and there’s no guarantee when he will return. Arsenal have an avalanche of midfielders in the side and really the question now appears is why Wenger still not looking to offload him.
