Loic Remy and Arsenal seem such a natural fit as the striker has all the attributes Arsene Wenger is looking for- pace, strong finish and a French passport. The 26 year old is sure to quit the already relegated QPR come the end of the season and he wants to make the short move across London to the Emirates, despite strong interest from the likes of Tottenham, Liverpool, Everton and Newcastle, reports the Mirror.
Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna has refused to rule out a move away from the Emirates in the summer to either Monaco or PSG and admits that it all depends on how the talks on a contract extension goes.
“At this moment, I have not received any proposal from PSG”, the right-back told Canal+.
“Maybe my agent has suggestions from his side.
“But I do not close any doors because I am in talks over an extension of my contract and you never know.
“I do not close the door on Paris or Monaco, or any club.”
Sagna is 30 years old and it will not be the biggest loss that Arsenal have suffered but he does bring experience to the side and that in itself is an asset that Arsene Wenger may decide is worth keeping for a couple more seasons.
