Swansea goalkeeper Michel Vorm has welcomed the speculation regarding his future from the English media, who continue to link the Dutch stopper to a move to a bigger club in the summer. Vorm is reportedly on the radar of Arsenal and Barcelona, with both teams looking for some more reliable options in goal after a largely disappointing season.
The 29 year old keeper, who has just the right kind of experience that Arsenal in particular are craving for, declared that he was happy to be on the radar of top clubs because it meant that the work he was doing in goal for Swansea was of a quality that made him standout amongst his peers. The player did add though that he was happy at Swansea and was in no hurry to leave the Welsh club.
Vorm is quoted in the Metro as having said, ‘Obviously you never know what can happen in football, but I see myself playing here next season. It is all speculation, but in some ways it is positive because it means people look at you as someone who is doing well.’
