The one perfect player for all 20 Premiership clubs
For a while let us forget about transfer targets. Let us forget about real and mundane world. How to cheer everyone up before the crazy festive season? Off course, by doing some crazy things only. Let us do some wishful thinking. How about finding one player for every PL club who would have made all the difference in the world, an ideal world?
Manchester United: Daniele De Rossi. Probably the player is closest to a like for like replacement of veteran Paul Scholes – a complete midfielder who would add steel and craft to Man United’s midfield.
Manchester City: Karim Benzema. Mancini is never satisfied with the attacking options he has got. Benzema could be his trump card if Dzeko or Balotelli leave the club in January.
Chelsea: Falcao. Goals & goals & goals – fans will soon forget the nightmares they had with a £50m striker in no time.
Everton: Dries Mertens. Typical Moyes’ signing, can use the money by selling another Belgian Marouane Fellaini.
Tottenham: Joao Moutinho. AVB wants him and will perfectly fill the void left by Luka Modric. His style would suit the team as well – marriage made in heaven.
West Brom: David Bentley. Remember the name? Well, with loads of experience under his belt he can be a useful resource for the club that have lofty ambitions this season.
Arsenal: Edin Dzeko. That’s the sort of striker Arsene Wenger needs to buy, but unfortunately he will end up with young promising kid like Zaha.
Swansea: Daniel Pacheo. He now needs a change. No need of wasting his talent at Liverpool where probably everything went wrong for him. Swansea boss will get the best out of the Spaniard. .
Stoke: Lee Catermole. Rugby & no Catermole? He is the only missing piece in Tony Pulis’ jigsaw puzzle.
Liverpool: Fernando Llorente. The Reds need a striker & a quality one. Llorente will offer Liverpool lot than Sturridge and it won’t cost huge money either.
West Ham: Grant Holt. Much better option than Andy Carroll and would fit into the style nicely.
Norwich: Darren Bent. Getting him could be difficult but can score goals. He needs new challenges too.
Fulham: Andrei Arshavin. His wife is settled in London, so no need to change the City. Just change the clubs. He can be a real star at Craven Cottage.
Newcastle: Andy Carroll. A dream move to former club & everyone is happy.
Sunderland: Macheda. He can’t get games at Manchester United and should make a move to Wear Side where he can resurrect his playing career yet again.
Aston Villa: Scott Parker. Since Barry’s departure the club is struggling for a leader and a good midfielder.
Wigan: Chris Eagles. The former Man Utd player’s talent is wasted at Bolton. Need to play at higher levels. Also, a good replacement for Victor Moses.
Reading: Dan Gosling. Newcastle have better midfield options at the moment and it’s time for Gosling to move elsewhere. Reading need players with PL experience in January.
QPR: Michael Dawson. QPR need to find a way to stop goals. Dawson has not future at Spurs and could kick-start his career again under Harry Redknapp.
Southampton: Brad Friedel. The saints have let more goals in than any other team and have already used three keepers this season, they need an experienced man between the post and with Spurs now using Hugo Lloris more often the time could be perfect for Southampton to make a move for the experienced American
