He has already scored seven goals and has bagged 10 assists for the club. Age is having no effect on him and his overall performances for club and country have been sensational.
So, what is the secret behind it? We all know he is a world class player, but keeping his age into mind, it’s unbelievable the way he is carrying himself.
One of the major reasons for this performance is that Gerrard is having an injury free season for Liverpool for the first time in many years. That’s why he is fit and delivering at highest level.
Also, he is starting to get a grip of Brendan Rodgers’ philosophies and is really enjoying the role given to him. He is given the central midfield job once again and with maturity gained over the years, he has transformed himself into a more complete player.
If HE considers this his best,he doesn’t deserve to be at LFC
