Make note of the name Todor Nedelev, ladies and gentleman, as the 20 year old Bulgarian star is poised to be the next big wing man in football. Currently plying his trade in little known Bulgarian club Botev Plovdiv, Nedelev has already won his maiden international cap and reeks of quality when he gets into final third, capable of scoring and creating goals a plenty.
Nedelev led Botev Plovdiv to the Europa League qualifiers this season, wherein he scored 3 goals before the side lost to German powerhouse Stuttgart in unfortunate circumstances on the away goals rule. The youngster is quickly coming into this own and is currently the top scorer in the Bulgarian first division, having already scored 5 goals with the season just 6 games old.
Tottenham have been eyeing the player as a possible long term replacement for Gareth Bale, but are expected to face competition from the likes of AS Roma, Galatasaray and now most notably Arsenal according to a report in TalkSPORT.
A move to Spurs though could be finalized soon with the aforementioned media house mentioning that his representatives are currently in London discussing terms.
