Theo Walcott is set for a bumper new deal at Arsenal if he intends to stay at the Emirates as the Daily Mail reports that the contract-rebel has been offered an improved deal worth £25 million that will see wages climb to around £90,000-a-week and £3 million sign-on bonus. Arsenal are confident they can retain the player with this new 5-year contract that will douse any hopes Manchester Untied and Chelsea had of signing him.
Arsene Wenger has been chasing Rennes midfielder Yann M’Vila for close to an year now and was offered the player by his club for a cut-price deal of £8 million in January but the Metro claims that the Arsenal manager has closed all doors for M’Vila to join the Emirates over his disciplinary issues.
Still no sign of a marquee signing for Arsene Wenger’s outfit, Walcott may stay on but that would hardly constitute a new beginning for the club, nothing short of a high profile signing will placate the Arsenal fans who are desperate for some form of success after a seven year drought

I doubt whether Arsenal will sign anyone during this transfer window, we want decent players at cut price and then he (Wenger)wonders why no one wants to come to Arsenal. We need to shift more than the two players gone, but only on loan. We need to get rid of about half a dozen more and bring in decent players, but first we have to secure 3rd or 4th place in the table and ensure we get into the CL next season.
Pls sir sign new fantastic player 4 us 1 striker 1 defensiv mildfiled an replacement 4 gibbs and 1 central defend and kepper
