England may have seen the last of Luis Suarez after the player admitted that he is open to a move away from Anfield and after Real and Atletico Madrid expressed interest in signing the Uruguayan, Bayern Munich have also entered the fray and the Sun claims that the Bavarians are ready to offer Arjen Robben as part of any deal for Suarez. The Champions League winners want more options in attack and are boosted by the fact that Suarez’s agent is the brother of their new manager Pep Guardiola. Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has insisted that the Uruguayan will not be sold but the striker’s controversial profile could force the Reds to cash in on him.
New French moneybags Monaco are ready to test Liverpool’s resolve to keep hold of Daniel Agger with a bid for the 28-year old Dane and ESPN reports that the Reds will turn down any offers from Monaco with any formal approach yet to be made. Manager Brendan Rodgers is looking to strengthen his defence after the retirement of Jamie Carragher and the uncertain futures of Martin Skrtel and Sebastian Coates. The Reds have already signed former Arsenal and Manchester City defender Kolo Toure on a free transfer and are reportedly chasing Schalke centre-back Kyriakos Papadopoulos and Sporting’s Tiago Illori.
